Video look books and designer's "look book movies" have recently become more and more popular as a way of transmitting a message and an experience behind a collection, I'm pretty sure the first video of this nature I watched was YSL's last year starring his son portraying tearful, young love. Parisian designer Vanessa Bruno in a far more uplifting manner, has made a gorgeous video for her Spring/Summer 2010 collection showing montages of dancing, laughing, rolling down sand hills, playing with bed sheets and seducing piano players, all the while in gorgeous lace, knits and lingerie.

A while ago I blogged about this Chanel backpack and just stumbled across this picture and the subject has pounced into my thoughts again... Could we erase the schoolgirl connotations of the backpack if it is leather, studded or branded?
I know these have nothing to do with my backpack pondering but wanted to share them...
